The name "Bauhaus," actually meaning "form follows function" or "simplicity in design," was founded in Germany by 20th Century architect Walter Gropious who merged a fine art academy with an arts and crafts school. The basis of this merger relies on the principles of both William Morris, a 19th Century English Designer, and the Arts and Crafts Movement, which set the belief system that art should meet the needs of society and that no distinction should be made between fine art and practical crafts.
By introducing key elements to achieve modern looks such as individuality, asymmetry, off-set and concave layering, visor fringes, feminine veils, disconnections, and strong lines atop of shapes, our designers are able to present clients with geometric hair cuts and styles that reinforce bone structure and facial features that give the client the ability to go from wash-to-wear with little resistence. Remember, it's the cut that counts.
